Jim started in the insurance industry in 1993 as a Large Account Representative with a national insurance company before starting his own successful agency in1998. Later, after eventually selling his agency, Jim stayed on to help with management.
During his time as an agency owner, Jim also had the privilege of serving as President of both the Kentucky State chapter, and the Central KY chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (now known as the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, or NABIP)
Since 2020, Jim has been in semi-retirement exploring other opportunities such as becoming:

Marketing Manager for a Financial-Technical start-up company,

Accreditations Consultant with the Better Business Bureau,

A Benefits Counselor for an employee onboarding agency.
All while keeping his KY Life and Health Insurance license active.
Starting in late 2025, Jim has become accredited to advise and assist people needing Medicare Supplement, Medicare Drug, and Medicare Advantage plans.
In his free time Jim enjoys spending time with his Wife, golfing, playing guitar, traveling, and being with his is children and grandchildren.
